Temporary Closure Information
The St. Clair Historical Commission and Volunteers announce that because of Covid 19 we will be closed to the general public until further notice. All of our tentatively scheduled events and presentations have also been cancelled for 2020.
We know many of you remain interested in the Museum and its programs, so our members are working on posting Historical Programs, video tours, and other information on line, on social media and on cable TV to continue to share St. Clair's History with everyone. Volunteers will also continue to gather and organize historical information, photographs, and documents at home, or safely at the museum.
Some volunteers have offered to help people do research, by appointment only, one to two researchers at a time. Researchers and Museum volunteers must wear masks in the building and social distance during these appointments.

Supply the topic you are researching, and what information about that subject you are interested in. This way the information can be gathered by the volunteer who is most educated in your area of interest. Books, binders, documents will be ready for your arrival. You can read and photograph the material we have. You may also request an appointment by writing and mailing to the commission at 308 S. 4th Street, St. Clair, Michigan 48079
